VERY PRELIMINARY RESULTS FOR WRITE-IN CAMPAIGN FOR STATE REP IN THE 154TH LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT

As many of you know, we mounted a Write-In Campaign for State Representative in the 154th Legislative District serving Cheltenham Township, Jenkintown Borough & Springfield Township. In order for a Write-In Candidate to appear on our ballots on General Election Day in November, at least 300 Write-In Votes would be required in the primaries.

The Republican Voters & Poll Volunteers delivered impressive results earlier this week on Primary Election Day. As of now, there were 593 Write-In votes cast- almost double the amount needed. Very likely, multiple people had their names written-in. This is a very common practice. That said, we had one Write-In Candidate we were promoting and it would stand to reason our efforts will result in success.

Within the next few weeks the Write-In votes will be tabulated and we will know if we have a Republican Candidate for State Representative on our ballots on Election Day 2024.

Thank you to our Republican Voters & Poll Volunteers for a job well-done!

Springfield ‘ GOP committee was pushing Thom Estilow as the 154th write in all day Tues. We had many positive responses from the voters. The end of night numbers seem to reflect that it’s going to be a good eventual outcome. .

    • Springfield GOP brought your A-Game. There were big numbers at the majority of polling places. If we’re successful, Springfield GOP can take your bows. Thank you to everyone in your committee.
